BuyerEdge ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. BuyerEdge is intended for use by Australian property buyers.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use BuyerEdge:

  • Property details — address, asking price, your offer, property type, state, and agent information you enter into the tool.
  • Uploaded documents — building inspection report PDFs and inspection photographs you provide for analysis.
  • Usage data — analysis history stored in your account to allow you to revisit past reports.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To generate AI-powered negotiation scripts, building report analyses, and photo analyses on your behalf.
  • To save property profiles and analysis history so you can revisit and reuse them.
  • To improve the accuracy and quality of our AI outputs over time.

4. AI Processing

BuyerEdge uses Anthropic's Claude AI models to process your inputs. Data you submit may be transmitted to Anthropic's servers for inference. We do not use your data to train AI models. Please review Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your property profiles and history are stored securely in an encrypted PostgreSQL database. Uploaded PDFs and photos are processed in-memory and not stored permanently on our servers. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except where required to deliver our service (e.g. Anthropic for AI inference) or as required by Australian law.

7. Your Rights

Under Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@buyeredge.app.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
